If you’re a student at McGill and interested in learning more about what we do drop by or send Prof. Piper an email (andrew dot piper at mcgill dot ca). We’re located on campus in Room 465 in 688 Sherbrooke.

We’re looking for students, both undergraduate and graduate, who care about literature and culture and have an interest in learning about new ways of using computational tools to study them. You don’t need a background in computer programming, just a healthy dose of curiosity and openness to learning. Prof. Piper’s course, LLCU 255: Introduction to Literary Text Mining, is a good place to start for undergraduates, as is LLCU 614: Cultural Analytics, for graduate students.
